| Hello, I have a NoDak XM16E1 lower that I was going to have engraved but I might just have it anodized. Who can do this for me? I have tried to email and call US Anodizing and I have not gotten any response. Hope someone can help. I have everything but this lower anodized so I am chomping at the bit to get it done. |
| I called and emailed Victor about a week and a half ago,,received an email and voice messege from him giving me the OK to send my upper, lower and delta ring but to expect a 3-4 week wait which is ok with me.I sent them out and tracking shows they were delivered on 3/14...So just keep trying, but expect the 3-4 week wait for completion. |
| He has a price list on his web site. $50 for uppers. He's had my parts for two weeks so hopefully another couple and they'll be back. All the aluminum parts, including a raw lower was $190 with return shipping. That included extra for the carbine tube and 30 bucks to get the upper and buffer tube dry film lubed. |

From US Anodizing's Pricing page:
The price listed is for bare parts only. Disassembly or Assemblty requires an additional cost (POR).
So they will strip it for you (price on request), but considering their current workload it may be in your interest to take it apart yourself before you send it in. |

Do uppers need to be stripped or can you sent the complete upper (i.e. rear sight and port door still on, no barrel attached) You can send the upper assembled (sans barrel) but he will charge an additional $25 for disassembly/reassembly. At least that's what he charged me. |
