Recently I inherited the basic OLY A1 Plinker AR. I know, I, know...Oly sucks...condolences to me...Oly is okay...depending on who you talk to. Anyway the weapon has never been fired. while i was tearing it down. I noticed the bolt carrier in not staked at all. My plan is to simply replace the complete BCG.
Maybe an A2 upper when funding allows it. For now this OLY will only see range, and plinking kind of stuff. No personal/family/ defense duty. My question to all of you is...wait for it...which BCG and upper to go with? BCM, Bushy, or another brand? Thoughts? Thanks for your input. BJ |
| if it was me, i'd take my pick of a bcm, spike's, or lmt. all are the highest quality. i'd also shoot that bad-boy before i, or anyone else bad-mouthed it too much. some of the older oly's were very good quality, and fine shooters.i've just found out in the last few years how junky my bushmaster is,,,,,, after all these 1,000s of trouble-free rounds––––––––- |
