OK - I just got my lower - and I plan to make an XM177 semi-clone.  I'm getting the parts kit - it's going to have a "hole" flash hider rather than a "slot" flash hider - and it's going to use M4 furniture - so it's really not an XM177 clone - but I digress.

My lower is anodized black - but the "fire and "safe" aren't red and white - they are just black, like the rest of the lower.

I'd like to color them in.

Is there an easy way to do that?

Also - there's a little scratching in the anodization that I would like to touch up - is there a way to do this???

Thanks in advance!!! h.gif

Crayon for the markings... though you have to touch it up once and a while.

If you don't want to use crayon, I used Testors model paint anda toothpick or very thin wire.
