What is the Black 2' Pan Head screw for??? There's nothing in the "manual" explaining it.

You can use that instead of the the hex screw to clamp your sight to your rifle. In a pinch, you can use a nickel of a quarter to remove your holosight if you need to. Consider it a quicker release than an trying to find a wrench for hex screw :)
