Can anybody tell me about the Teflon coated mags? Are they worth the extra price? Are there any advantages over USGI mags or am I wasting my time looking at an extra 'bells and whistles'?

They will not be any more reliable, as long as you keep your mags relatively clean. The finish is more durable than the standard moly coating. Basically, the only advantage I see, is that they will not show wear as fast, but that is just a cosmetic thing.
