Yes. Keep the parts separate if you are really paranoid about a last-ditch effort by the BATFE to bust you on 'constructive intent'. Consider storing the pre-ban parts at your sisters house until then. I for one am buying an upper for my post-clinton rifle and taking vacation in the middle of September to fly home and build it. Me, you and thousanda more will be posting pictures on Sept 14. |

I too will have my 9-14 rifle and post pics as well. I will be traveling to my parents on 9-13 to pick up the upper and parts. Will stay late to ensure I get home past midnight and put it together. Heck, my lower is coming in this week sometime (thanks gunguyr) I might put the guts in it, but not install the telescoping stock until 9-14. |
