This might sound stupid but can you use an A3 carry handle with SIR? The benefit would be the standard A2 sights (elevation dial!) and you wouldn't need the ARMS #40 flip-up sight.

Well, it fits on the rail, but unless you're wanting a 300 meter zero...it's useless. The rear apeture would be way too high. The elevation adjustment can only go so low.

Sight would be TOO high for the front sight post, as S.I.R. mounts to the flat-top and while A3 handle might fit ontop of the S.I.R. ya'd have a sight-height problem.

When is the last time anyone used the elevation dial on their carbine? I dont think I ever touched them, that is, until after the santose zero. Oh, and yeah, PS, it wont work well. [;)]
