I'm kinda new the whole AR-15 thing. I built my own ar about 6 months ago. I was kinda scared during that first shot. Since then it has opened a whole new world to me. I enjoy the fact that you never see two ar15s the same.
Anyway, I am now looking to build a complete upper for longer range shots. My current is a carbine setup. I just wanna be able to pop the two pins and switch. My question now is, Are the Galati barrels any good? Im looking at the 24" SS .223 1/8 twist barrel. It is listed considerably cheaper than say DPMS or Delton etc... Just wondering if there is a reason. I dont want a "crap" barrel, but on the other hand I'm not looking to strike a match at 400 yds either. I currently reload my ammo, so I know ammo makes a big difference in accuracy. All in all, just looking to see if you guys have heard anything on these barrels or own one. Thx in advance fellas
