With all this talk of various chamber dimensions, etc., I have a question. It's gonna sound stupid, but here goes...If my new Armalite M15A2 has stamped right there on it "RIFLE 5.56MM" can I rest assured, once and for all, that it is a NATO chamber, not something else?

If it does not state 5.56 you may have issues with a .223 gun and 5.56 ammo.
