After reading of some concerns about buffer tilt- I contacted Firearms Ready Solutions and ordered one of their buffers and spriings. After recieving this kit, I've run nearly 1200 rds through my rifle with no discernable wear. I had noticed a small bit of chafing on the bottom of the tube so I covered this with a sharpie marker before I started my last class. After firiing nearly 12oo rds, I broke it down for cleaning and discovered NO scuffing in the buffer tube area. The toughest part of the installation is getting the flat wound spring into the tube- it's really a tough spring. Seth includes instructions for this which would have undoubtably made it easier if I'd only read them beforehand.
In conclusion, great product- really great folks to deal with- just make sure that you measure the opening in the rear of the carrier in more than one place so that Seth can machine the buffer for a good fit. Anodizing is really good and the gun seems to run smoother after installation. And- no- I didn't get a discount for writing this- it's just a really well-made product that does what it's advertised to do.

I talked to him also. Nice knowledgeable guy. I am ordering one soon myself. Is the new buffer spring needed? Or can I use my original spring? Why did you go with a new spring?

Seth recommends using the newer spring- it is included in the price. He also commented that the spring might need to be clipped a couple of rounds if the gun was slow or had difficulty running. This was not the case for me. My gun seemed to run smoother with less recoil- I know that 's a subjective thing but it does seem smoother.

He really impressed me- I ordered the part on the net and he called me to discuss the weight of the buffer- this dude knows his stuff. I took his suggestion on the weight and it worked out well- he really stressed measuring the carrier opening in several different positions to assure fit. Mine slid right in but no slack. I can't stress this enough either- put the spring in first before you put the buffer into the spring! Getting the spring past the detent is the biggest part of the job and like I said- if I'd read the directions- it would not have been an issue. I know that sound ridiculous but .........
