the inside of your AR that has NOT been cleaned in a LONG time,that still functions fine???My friend who is an AK fanatic that bashes the shit out of AR's says they can't fire that many rounds before jamming!!!

Tell your “friend” that every weapon regardless if it’s an AK or AR, needs preventative maintenance at some point.

And that is from someone with first hand experience.

not sure what this post is about? My mak90 has seen some abuse. clean? yeah I just did that for the first time after install of scope siderail mount. Ive done nothing but a quick bore swipe after punishment. I just bought my first AR. I dont think I will put the AR through the same "test" after all the ak only cost 150.00 when I purchased. The simplicity of the AK is just that simple, AR is not quit as simple. simple it is just a tad more than the ak.

Go to Amazon.com and type in Magpul. Look for the DVD called "art of the tactical carbine" and click on the pictures. You will see a picture of their AR lower at the end of the day.
