I ordered one on a whim, (and $150 for a freefloat isnt too shabby). I cannot remove the Vortex flash hider from my 14.5" Noveske barrel so I figured this would work.
Anyone use them, and if so, how do you like it? Is it pretty durable? |
| I run one on a Colt 6720, with an Aimpoint ML2 on the hump. Really like mine, very solid, free float, and like you noted, inexpensive. You should be aware, the $150 ones are blems, but on mine it wasn't anything I coldn't live with. The RAS II isn't the sexiest thing on the market anymore, there are lighter rails, longer rails, etc out there, but it's a good solid rail that does what it was built to do. The only downside I can really think of is that the hump will limit optic options a bit, bit an Aimpoint on the hump or an ACOG behind it shound work wonderfully. |
