Anyone Using a BCM Gunfighter Comp ?

BCM Gunfighter Comp

Impressions ?
Yay or Nay ?

Looks like if could be useful for a blast baffle in a suppressor that mounts to an A2 type FH.

I have a couple of them in use. Good piece of kit. Works well.

I have a few of them.

They do reduce the felt recoil and muzzle rise a bit, and make a rifle feel smoother. It's not as good as some of the dedicated breaks though.

But... I do not notice any more blast coming off of the BCM comp, than an A2 flash hider.

That is the best part of the BCM comp... Noticable, if not large, reduction of felt recoil and muzzle ride, without added blast.

I believe it was designed to allow suppressors that fit an A2, to fit it as well.

I have one on a 16" mid.  It shoots softer than my 18" rifle gas with A2 on the same lower.

One came on my 16" BCM 5.56 and on my 9" BCM 300 BLK, they work fine for shooting. The only issue I had was you need a thin wrench to install and remove them, when I went to remove mine from my 300 blk to put a Noveske KX5 on I just used a screw driver in the slits and it came right off with no damage. For installing you'll need to find a wrench.

I love all of mine ( .308 and .223 ) they work good enough and don't piss of the shooting table next to you... ( like my Lantac .308 does 2-3 tables down.. it does very much limit recoil.. but man, don't touch off a round in an enclosed area like a indoor shooting stall with the Lantac , you will be sorry. )

Have two, a mod 0 on a 16" BCM and a mod1 on a 14.5" BCM. They are fantastic comps and do a great job reducing muzzle rise. The flash isn't bad at night either.
The 16" with mod0 is the smoothest rifle I've shot, and everyone who shoots it agrees. Definitely recommend.

The BCM is a good hybrid muzzle device (especially if you get it for free when you buy a BCM 16" upper), but I replaced all mine w/the Precision Armament AFAB and haven't looked back.

I've used them, they work OK honestly didn't feel a whole lot different than the a2. The strike industries jcomp extremely effective on reducing recoil but loud as hell.

I've gone back to standard a2s on my rifles.

I have two, and I like them a lot. Had one on a gamer gun, it didn't reduce muzzle rise as much as I would like for that purpose. Have one on my general use carbine, it's great for that. Nobody on the line with me ever complains like they do about the brake on my gamer gun that replaced the other Gunfighter.

The Gunfighter is basically an improved A2. Little less kick, little more flash, barely more concussion. If that's what you want, go for it.

I had one on my first gun, and it worked great, but it wasn't worth the additional noise for me.

A handy test showing how the BCM comp 1 did, vs numerous other devices. The one's highlighted in Green are the hybrid flash/compensators:

In terms of recoil, the BCM Comp M1 ($95) scored 33% reduction over bare muzzle, and 25% improvement over the standard A2 flash hider.

The AFAB, which is also around $109 and suppresses flash as well as the A2, scored 55% reduction over bare muzzle, 47% improvement over the A2.

So really, for $14 more you get 2x the recoil reduction with the AFAB.

I have a bunch of them on my rifles. They aren't a gamer comp by any means, but they help a little. I use mine with my Griffin M4SDK.
