Universal 2000 by Motorex Hi-Tech of Switzerland? Supposed to be a special lubricant that works well for the AR-15 exterior. Don't know why it wouldn't work for inner parts, too. |

IMO, not much is need for the exterior of the rifle. The receivers are anodized aluminum and the handguards and stock are plastic. All that I feel needs protection is the barrel and FSB. A quick wipe down with CLP on a paint brush and I'm good to go.
If you do feel the need to lube the entire exterior of the weapon, I use a paintbrush saturated with CLP to lube, then wipe the rifle of any excess using a black t-shirt. CLP will work for the interior of the weapon as well. To answer your original question, no I haven't used the Universal 2000. My apologies for getting off topic. |
