I have an 18" Mid length gas fluted barrel.  Always my first two shots are random and off my be 3" apart low and left then shoots perfect. Same scenario with all the loads tested.  Each load used is within 1/10 of a gr and .005 O.A.L.   This is a constant every time I go out.  Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Cold bore affects point of impact.

Are you cleaning it after each range trip?  If so, the fouling is needed with the first couple shots.

I agree with the others, a cold or clean barrel will affect POI.

Yes, I clean after every outing. 100 shots or 5 clean everything the same. None of my other uppers react like this. And all are maintained the same. I will back off on the barrel cleaning between outings and see if it helps.
