I'm interested in buying a couple 30 round mags. I heard good things about the DSG mags for $10 a piece and figured that'd be great for me. I won't put any magazines through any hard use but I do expect them to function well.

What are your thoughts on DSG mags?

DSG mags are D&H Industries mags made for DSG.  They are USGI's and are a supplier for the department of defense.  Buy with confidence.  + with DSG you can get the 10 pack with Magpul followers for $100 free shipping. I have had zero problems with them and will probably by a lot more.

Here's a link with good info when I asked the same thing.

I found out on this forum that my DSG mags were made by D&H.

Most of my AR mags are D&H. They're excellent mags.

Yes they are D&H and they are great mags. They function flawlessly and they are at a price right now that you can't beat with magpul followers and free shipping.

I ended up ordering a couple.  They came in and I put them in the mag well and removed them without any issues.  They seem to function perfectly, but I haven't fired a round through one yet either.

I have 20 of the DSG gray teflon with Magpul followers.  Great mags!  I also have 10 from Bravo Co. (D&H mags as well) that I put orange Cproducts followers in to replace the greenies.  No issues from any of them, and they are all very smooth.

Excellent to hear.

I came here looking for info on which mags to stock up on for my new S&W M&P15A that I brought home about an hour ago.

I was just on DSG's site looking at a 10 pack of DSG 30 rd mags and a few Pmags,

One question though, are the Pmags with the windows worth the extra few dollars?

No they are not. You are better off taking the money you save and buy more mags or ammo.

Yeah, I looked yesterday and all but the 20 round, & Pmags were gone.  I can't imagine that there will be much left around in a week or two once the reality settles in.
