I like the idea of using regular uzi mags without having to mod. them.
Saw one in the gun porn section but doesn't seem to be very popular.
Any feedback?

Look at the date on the first post at the tacked VM Hy-Tech topic above...  Mine came out of the first batch made...

Plug and play for me, only thing I needed to do was make it take the IMI 32 round makes, as John not cut the well to same dimension as std Uzi.

I love mine. I have a RRA block as well, but if you want to swap calibers a lot or have a bunch of uzi mags allready the VM is the way to go.

also the new ones work w/ the german contract mags without and mods

So in closing the German uzi mags are good to go in the current model with no "tweaking"?
