Pros & Cons?

Blue Force UDC Single Point Sling w/ HK Hook from DSG Arms

The BFG line is top notch - no quality cons. Our version of the UDC has a removeable hook so you could also be modular on a Burnsed loop, etc. or add a snap shackle.

Pros and cons would be for a single point in general. Pretty specialized piece.

Looks alot like the Troy sling without the pad and goofy handle.  I hate the pad and goofy handle so I'd say it looks pretty good.  Might have to pick one up for myself.  Be nice if you posted a link as well.

rgr that - DSG's UDC sling

Here's a pic of the snap hook setup - we like being able to remove the hook, but it does add a little length to the carry of the weapon vs a sewn on hook.

ETA: the Coyote and green webbing are low near infrared reflective (LNIR) and all 3 colors are treated for abrasion resistance.

I wish it didn't have that plastic clip.  I don't see the point in having a plastic clip and a metal HK clip.

The Fastex break away is a requirement on most mil slings these days. The addtl Fastex on the UDC is to make it modular - you could plug in a QD adapter, etc.

We do also have a UDC with no Fastex. It uses DD anodized buckles and a snap shackle setup. Paratroopers like it and the shackle has a pull cord if you need out of it.

Fastex will let go eventually if you get snagged - this model will not - you and the weapon are 'one' unless you release the shackle. We offer it with an HK hook too (but not recommended for duty use).
