What is the measurement of the small aperture on an A2 rear sight? I've heard .100" and .070". I want to go to a .052" for target work.

Edit: Got it!!! It's .070" the .052" would be 25% smaller.

I'm going smaller too. There's just too much open area with the standard one.

I just put one together with an .046" rear aperture from DPMS.

Bushmaster has a rear sight that allows you to change apertures (they screw in).
