just ar-10 being armalite brand? or any 308 style, meaning DPMS design or AR-10 design?

I just mean a 308, I didn't realize ar-10 was proprietary...

good reading for your 308 information HERE

for lowers, try SI-defense they had some in stock still when I got my matched set, so did Fulton Armory. There is another that I have yet to try: Shadow ops.
