I'm thinking about buying this lower, but wanted your opinion on the asking price the guy wants for it. Is he asking too much? I know these lowers are no longer in production and it is probably a collectors item now. I've been wanting one for a long time. I'd like input from those who have them as well. I really like that it is fully ambidextrous with the 45° safety selector but don't know if those features are worth the price. What do you all think? |
| I bought mine from ARFCOM two years ago come October. The price was 275.00, just the lower. The way he has it set up was 821.00. I don't know when they'll start making them again or if its been stopped, postponed or discontinued.it's up to you if you really want it bad enough at that price. |

Quoted:
What about the collectability of it being a design of magpul's. It does have a Geissele match trigger too. Other magpul lowers on gunbroker have sold for $3000! That's insane, but in comparison this isn't too bad of a price for what it is. I just told you in my post what the price was for what he is selling. It's not too bad. It's as close as you will get to the Magpul lower which is unobtainable, now a year ago S&W was suppose to come out with a Magpul looking lower on their Magpul rifle and it was priced around 1100 dollars. |

They did, a buddy of mine has one. Have been trying to buy it from him since I saw it. |

I'm sure he would if it was in stock.

| You guys rock. Thanks for pointing out these other options. I spoke to Raineir a while back. They told me AXTS had a catastrophe with their cnc machine and it was keeping them from making their receivers. They made the raptor charging handles to recoup from their setback. I bought their charging handle in an effort to support their company in the hopes of them bringing their lowers back into production. They have a backorder, but it looks like I will be going with them. I love their products (the raptor charging handle is really top shelf). Thanks for the heads up on the ARFCOM lower in the store as well. Looks like there are quite a few options out there still for readily available ambi lowers. |

That is a very nice lower! I would love to have one and would be willing to pay gross money for one....what they are asking is above gross to me.
There isn't a practical reason to buy that lower for that price....BUT, if you have the money and want it that bad, I say GO FOR IT! Value is based on what someone is willing to pay for something and my guess is it will at the very minimum hold it's value as a collectable piece. |
