Hello. I'm building a Eagle Arms Lower from Quantico Arms and would like your opinion on wether or not the Armalite N.M. trigger is worth the extra money over the standard kit when buying a lower parts kit. Or, would I be better off with another makers match trigger. I'm planning on putting a Armalite 24" match 1in 8"
twist upper on it and want to get the best out of it.

Thanks for your input.

I would not.

RRA match triggers (a "copy" of the Armalite) are better IMHO, and from my reading of other's opinions.

I would get it with the standard trigger,t hen upgrade it yourself to a RRA.  It's gonna cost you the same, but you will get a better trigger, and have the original fire control parts to boot.

FALARAK. Took your suggestion/advice and have a RRA N.M. trigger order in the works. You are right IMHO about having spare fire control parts as spares also.

Better to have em' and not need em', than to need em' and not have em'.

With 5 AR's, it would not be a bad idea. Although they might not work in the 2 Colt Pre-Bans that I have.

Thanks for the speedy reply.[:D]

I have an Armalite NM trigger in Eagle/Armalite lower and it is nice and crisp, second stage breaks at 4.7 lbs, so it's Service Rifle "legal".  It took just a little polishing on two surfaces to get it super-smooth.

The trigger works exactly like an M1 Garand trigger/hammer.

Rock River Arms NM triggers also get good press.

Regards.
