Hello all.

I recently picked up an Armalite M15A4 SPR

And have begun to add my own touches to it.  I've picked up a Leupold Mark AR 6-18x40mm optic for it which rides in a Rock River RRA High Rise One Piece Scope Mount.

I'd like to add a Ergo F93 Stock or something similar.  I like the Magpul UBR Stock but I don't like how expensive it is and especially how heavy it is.  Anyone know of any other stocks that keep your cheek weld consistent while allowing for an adjusted length of pull/ability to reduce overall length for transportation/storage?

The rifle will not be a bench rest rifle.  It will be used to plink steel as far out as I can push her.  I'll be hiking it up into the hills and I'm doing everything in my power to keep weight down.  I elected to pick up the Leupold over a Nikon M223 primarily because of the weight considerations.

Finally, and here is the question I need the most help with.  I'd like to free float the barrel with a Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS.

My barrel is a 20" Heavy Barrel Non Government Profile (no notch for the underslung grenade launcher).  I'd like to put on a 12 Inch Hand Guard if that would work.  It would keep my system just a little lighter, be a little less expensive and save me the cost of having to buy and install a low profile gas block that would be necessary if I use the 15 Inch Hand Guard.

Does anyone know if the 12 Inch Hand Guard will offer full coverage of the gas tube and not run into the stock gas block?  Has anyone here tried installing the Gen 2 SS on their Armalite?  Any help would be extremely appreciated.  Pics of your rifle with the Gen 2 mounted are always drooled over.  :)  Thanks guys!
