For you owners what is the ring width (gripping surface) of the rings. I am getting the 30mm version and need dimensions to make some 1" inserts. I would just by the 1" version, but would like some versatility in mounting bigger scopes without buying another mount. Thanks

My 1" Armalite mount rings are 0.755" wide at the top. Don't know if the 30mm is the same, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are.
