| I am planning on buying a rifle in either .308 or 7.62, the choices I am thinking about are the Armalite M15A4 when it comes out or the the DPMS AP4. Which do you guys think would be a better buy they are about the same price? I probably will not be buying it for another 5-6 months but I figured I start researching now. Thanks for your time. |
not according to this link armalite 7.62 Are you guys just saying Armalite because the name or is there another determining factor? Thanks for answering my questions/ |
That particular M15A4 is chambered for 7.62x39. Same as an AK-47. The 7.62 NATO (.308) version is the AR-10. |
Thanks I was confusing the 2 |
| I don't know if this will help you or not but......I don't have any experience with Armalite but I do have a DPMS. THe gun functions well and is very accurate, but the fit and finish were a huge letdown when I got it. I won't ever buy anything else from DPMS except maybe internals but would rather do business with a company that cares. By the way the rifle I have is a 20th anniversary limited edition....you would think that they would have gone the extra mile to make this rifle look emmaculate. Just my 2 pennies. |
