Hello guys,
I am trying to do my first lower build.

Is the disconnector spring and the bolt catch spring the same?

I am using a RRA LPK and a POF lower. THe RRA LPK has the above mentioned springs, they are very close in appearance, but one seems just a small bit longer and with a bit less tension.

THe problem is only one spring seems to work well in the bolt catch recess and the disconnector both, with one spring being almost too big in diameter to work in either spot.?????

Help !!!!

The disconnector spring is the slightly cone shaped on, the fat end goes towards the trigger (down) and the skinny end goes up.  Once it is in there it won't come out by itself.  The straight spring that is a similar size is the bolt catch spring, it has a little cap/plunger that goes over one end IIRC.

The disconnector spring should be wider on one end that allows it to fit tightly in the trigger  channel and not come out accidentally, the bolt catch spring should be the same diameter on both ends.
