I have read from several here that a automatic center punch was used to re-stake gas keys.
There are quite a few out there for sale in a wide price range. For the people here that actually have used one which really worked, which make/model did you use? |
| I've used a $8 automatic center punch from Lowes to stake the lock nut/receiver end plate on a collapsible stock with great results several times. But I'm not sure an automatic center punch would work well for staking a gas key because of what I assume is a harder metal. |
