Here is what I would do or at least from what I’ve seen. Rule 1 of any stuck part gets AeroKroil.
If you do not have any your failed and need to buy some. It’s really a amazing product and also a excellent bore cleaner as many BR shooters will also say. Next take a rubber dead blow hammer and tap on it( use wood block) Don’t beat it “yet”. Separate front pin if possible and wedge a Credid Card or equivalent to lower hammer which is probably wedged like the pic already posted. Tap with dead blow once again.
If still stuck if personally be pissed off and would beat the shit out of it with zero regard of its value. After broken I’d salvage what I could. I don’t recommend that approach. I’d recommend you take it to a gun smith or send back to factory. Not me though I’d go Thor’s hammer.

I'll look into AeroKroil.
The BCG could be wiggled, so it was hung up on something.
The hammer was already lowered, it was not the hang up - I did confirm that before I pulled both pins.
I used rubber lightweight hammer on it previously to no avail.
I pulled pins and was able to get everything apart.
Never had to beat on anything.
The BCG was hung up on something.
The BCG was able to slide freely in the receiver after I got everything apart.
Tally one for my own education on what not to do when checking part fit.
