There are a number of different job shops (machine shops) cranking these out. Just wondering why it matters assuming they all follow the same mil-spec standard. You don't buy a car and wonder where all the 3000 parts were made if the quality is there and your happy.

I'm not saying there's any problem with it, just curious about where it came from.

Sure thing. Just saying......could be coming from anyone one of 30 or 40 different shops around the US. We are having our bolt carriers made in two shops in the mid-west.
