Considering a few BCG's for my AR. My priorities are that it is A) Rock solid dependable, and B) Easy to clean.
Units I'm looking at: FailZero Young National Match BCM IonBond Thoughts? Other suggestions? |

I recently picked up a Spike's Nickel Boron BCG and a Denny's/GTS Super-Duty Ion bonded BCG.
The Spike's is beautiful! I think I may have lucked out. I've heard some of these are a little rough because the coating enhances the machining marks, but mine is smoooth... I've had an opportunity to run the Spike's and so far no problems and cleaning is a Breeze. A side note- The Spike's BCG went into a rifle with a Wilson TTU so the Spike's Nickel Boron hammer went into another lower with a stock Bushmaster trigger. Lubed her up and did a few dry-fires with it. WOW! What a difference just the hammer had...Sweet! HTH |
