Have several Bolts and bolt carriers
1) One DPMS BCG with bolt about 3000+ rounds through it. Has never burped once. Looks well staked.
2) One Oly with Bolt & carrier supplied by them about 1000 rds This is a chrome bolt carrier with steel key, regular bolt. Again looks well-staked.
3) One no name BCG and bolt. Not sure where I got it (ie, gun show most likely.) How to tell the mfr?

4) 2-3 no name bolts. Not sure where they came from. Can hang onto these for general shooting. How to tell if they are 'good'? other than just using them.

Main Question: Get a replacement BCG from Bravo Company and their std bolt for the serious work DPMS upper, or go expensive  with the LMT enhanced bolt and BCG for $285.00?
Mainly so I know what the heck is in it - for sure. So far happy with the DPMS settup as it came.

Thanks!

Why fix what isn't broken? Just a waste of money.

To be extra safe?

I wouldn't bother with an enhanced BCG.  A standard LMT or BCM BCG would be great.  Keep one of your original BCGs are a backup, sell the rest on the EE... or build rifles around them, hahaha.

All bolts break eventually.  It's just a question of when.

Just use the bolts you have and if they break, you have extras already. BCM BCGs are fantastic but use what works really.

Use what you've got and works.  If they break, replace them with something else.

If you're sure that they are well staked, keep the carriers. Good staking is metal being pushed against the screws.

Keep the bolts too, but I'd buy at least one quality MP bolt as a "primary replacement."
