Bravo has a BCM bolt carrier group MPI tested for $149.95
They also list a CMT BCG MPI tested for $130. I thought CMT is Continental Machine & Tool. a major player in the AR world. Why is the CMT $20 cheaper? Is it inferior to the BCM? What does BCM stand for? |

BCM = Bravo Company Mfg.
BCM BCG's are assembled to Paul's specs which easily meet those of even keyboard commandos! Simply put, while you are correct CMT does make a lot of parts, they do not test each individual part as BCM, LMT, or Colt does. LMT has been given a back seat as of lately due to their choice to use MIM and Colt BCG's are tough to find below $200 so a BCM being of equal if not better quality fits the bill nicely at $160 and comes with top notch customer service! |

I'm asking about the BCG because I'm not into the various makes and parts, and this is a Christmas gift for a relative that is building his own on a RRA lower that I gave him. It seems that BCM wins, so that is what Santa will get him. Thanks for the help. |

At the top of the DSGarms page it says "if you're military or law enforcement...discount pricing" so I'm sure you're gtg. It's a gift, I didn't think it would be right to angle for an LE discount for a product I'm giving away...the BCM will do. |
