| I've been looking at getting a new AR soon. I have been looking at the Bravo Company AR's. Are they GTG?? Pros and cons? Anyone have a complete factory rifle that cares to share about it? I'll probably be getting the standard 16 inch m4 type configuration, unless I decide to go with a SBR and jump through the NFA hoops with the ATF. Thanks. |

Pros? All Cons? None Not in stock for ordering Fixed it for you. That's actually a Pro in disguise. It means BCM will not settle for any OTS parts just to keep items in stock. They demand quality. They know garbage in = garbage out. So you know when that "in stock" print shows up, that they didn't compromise quality just to meet demand. |

as everyone else has said, bcm is regarded one of the best. Not only is their stuff great, but they back it up with oustanding customer service and quality control. This is based only on what ive read here, but my next rifle will be a bcm ar (recce style). Buy with confidence and enjoy your quality gear |

BCM is absolutely Good To Go. Pat Rogers has put over 41,000 rounds through his BCM Middy known as "Filthy 14". These rifles are designed to meet the needs of shooters with no intentions of "babying" them. Run them hard and keep them wet (lubed). I own a bunch of them. Shoot the heck out of them. And have plans to buy a bunch more. |

Pros: high quality reliable AR Cons: their cons are cosmetic and doesn't matter to most folks: upper and lower fit/finish aren't great. Ugly logo. The BCM I own is also the least accurate of the few ARs I have. Some are tighter than others. Fit and finish would vary from one to the next like any other brand, but it's not a priority because BCM doesn't make guns to bring to the gun prom. Logo is personal preference. Accuracy is relative. |
| If you are looking at a M4 type rifle have you looked at Spikes ?I don't know the price of the BCM ,but I'd bet Spikes is cheaper for that style of rifle.I don't know how they rate between the two brands, but I would consider the Spikes from everything I have read about them on here and probably save some money in the process.YMMV |

Got mine today!! Lovin it!! Went with a BCM 16" Mid-length with Daniels Defense 12" Lite Rail, BCM Flip sights(HK style front), BCM lower, Magpul ACS Stock, AFG2, Ergo grip and a Vickers combat sling. Now just need the Aimpoint optics and a Surefire tac light and she's all set!!

BCM is pretty much the standard for people that build their AR's. this is not accurate. it might be the standard for people who buy complete uppers... but people who "build" their AR's either actually machine them from 80% forgings or they machine them from scratch... or you could even dilute it further and say "building" is buying all the pieces separately and assemble them... in that case this would still be incorrect as the majority of people don't use BCM parts for that either. BCM is still GTG though. |
| In my honest opinion BCM makes one of the best rifles on the market. They're priced right too. I have quite a few of their small parts and they seem to be bomb proof. I've never seen any of their stuff break or fall apart. Bottom line is BCM is gtg and I doubt you'll find anyone on this site who says otherwise. |
| If I was equipping a group with Semi-Auto rifles, in-country, or overseas, three makers would be on my very short list. Colt, BCM, and Daniel Defense. Whichever one of those could equip me with a flattop, 16"bbl, 1/7 twist adj. stock M-4 type for the best price (every time I did a high dollar P.O. I had to get three bids) would be the winner. I would not feel in the least bit underarmed if Daniel beat out Colt, or Colt beat out BCM or vice-versa. |
