I am currently building an AR pistol with a Daniel Defense 10.3" BHF barrel under a kmr 9. Gonna put an AAC brakeout 2.0 on the end. Should be finished getting cerakoted first of next week. I'll post pics when I get it assembled.

Word on the street is the metal mixture used in the KMR does not conduct or transfer heat as well as aluminum rails. Is this true, if so, how much so by mag dumps? I don't see alot of 15inch KMRs are they out yet? I need it for 18 inch build of awesomeness.

Image tags. Put [.img] before the link and [./img] after the link without the periods. The periods are just so you can read them in this post.

Dumped about 30 rounds under the sun and it was hot enough to need a glove, but this was also true for my LaRue quad rail naked.

The main reason why it feels hotter is cause your hand is closer to the barrel so if the KMR was a lot bigger it would feel cooler.

My next 200 dollars will swap the sb15 for a stamp and a stock

My God....I am in love with my newest rifle. The right side of the lower has the Texas flag on it and instead of "Fire" on the selector markings, it says "Don't Mess With". The trigger is bone stock and it's incredible. It's from a shop here in Texas called "Runner Runner Guns" and I highly recommend them.

Man I want a 9" KMR bad but BCM has no idea when they will be back in stock so I ordered a 13".

Literally no wobble. They include that nylon tensioning screw, but it wasn't needed for my set. I wish I had an actual camera

really have to apologize for the terrible pic.

before the tlr-1 and rail section it weighed in at 6.5lbs unloaded

spikes upper
spikes 16in carbine barrel gov profile
lrb lower
ops inc mb and collar
primary arms micro dot

very happy with this setup. i went to a fixed stock for a while, had an acs stock on it as well. been through a mi ss gen 1 hg, and a headdown provectus but i think i can finally leave it in this setup. may switch the pa dot out for my aimpoint pro

Aervoe rattle can Sand (base coat), Highland, and OD. A swatch of camo netting. A quick scrub with degreaser on oily areas, a few minutes of masking, and twenty minutes of spraying. It was super easy.
