I don't see why not?

To be 100% honest with you, it's really shooters preference....because you got contractors who swear by steel stamped mags, some swear by alum mags, and then some swear by polymer mags.

It holds bullets, and as long as the spring and follower are good...should be no problems.

I have a box of brand new sealed in plastic alum mags, that are probably 5-6 years old, and every time I give them to buddies or pull one for myself, they work flawlessly everytime. Do I still have Pmags? yup. I use both .

Major yes. Made by D&H IIRC. Should have a cage code on them that says "90435" I believe.

I've got 2 of their black ones, have had no issues with them at all.

I use mags that are over two decades old, you'll be fine.

A dissenting voice here. While they are certainly a good brand, I wouldn't depend on any NIP mags for serious purposes until I actually tried them out.

My BCM mags are GTG.  I bought 10 several months ago, the grey ones with MAGPUL followers. I used each one and had 0 problems.

I have issues with them. They seem to be (so far) the only GI mags that don't insert with a closed bolt. They work great inserted with the bold held open. This is with 3 different brands of lowers too. I even swapped followers in them to be sure and they still do the same thing. They do feed and function just fine when inserted right.

Sure you don't have 31 rounds in it? My BCM mage will hold 31, but can't lock in with a closed bolt. Nice thing is, when you have only 30 the mags can be easy inserted with the bolt forward due to the extra room.
That was my experience with them. I still use the telfon coated aluminum mags with the magpul followers for duty carry.

Yes, 30 rounds exactly. I thought of that too. Even double counted to be sure. I keep wondering if it's just the batch I got because I bought the 4 of them together. Funny thing is that they are really great mags other than that. I've never had one jam on me, even with the older green followers. I am going to continue to buy them because I get them from my local gun store for 11 bucks. Might just be that my lowers are all newer with less than 250 rounds each. Maybe if I get a different lot or batch things will change. I still like the mags.

After reading this post again i had to try all of my BCM mags. I have 10 i bought as stated in the post above and another 10 i purchased earlier and i couldn't load more than 30 rounds in any of them. My BCM mags are the gray, teflon coated AL. mags with the MagPul followers.
BTW, I can seat all of them on a closed bolt in my BCM Mid-Length carbine as well as my Pmags

26...With 26 it will load with the bolt in battery. I have also read the FAQ many times. (Good Read) I don't use my GI mags as frontline mags so I am not as worried about it. They still function just fine other than the loading issue and BCM wouldn't put their name on them if they sucked. At least I wouldn't think they would. Pmags are frontline for me.
