I am ordering a BCM 16in middy upper today. Either the standard 16in or SS. I have 2 complete BM RIFLES 14.5 16in .. A little more accuracy, any comment on this vs longetivy?. Both my Bushmasters are pulling 1-1.5in groups at 100 with a cheap Truglo 5MOA red dot no magnification.. Pretty consistent, but there are some days with a slight flyer bringing it to 2in. I am totally happy especially after reading about Fed XM193 average MOA is 2 -3. Stay with chrome lined or SS. I think I am going with chrome lined save a 100.00 and I can get the BCM BCG. Stupid question, but here it goes, I want regular handguards no free float,do I purchase midlength handguards? Is that what the length is labled when buying handguards for a middy gas system?
