So im thinking about going with a BCM upper, was just curious as to what lowers you guys have paired with them, currently im really looking into Spikes Tactical lowers, anybody with this config? I want a nice snug fit, thanks in advance.

My spike's lower fits pretty snug on my bcm upper. Color is dead on as well.

My Essential Arms lower has a very slight gap.

Color is a little off on mine, but it still looks pretty close. Fit is great.

Nice! Thanks for the input so far, now I will sleep better tonight knowing that im on the right track with a lower to pair with it. This is going to be my first build, wish me luck. By the way, what kind of BCG's are you guys running with your set ups?

BCM 11.5 upper with Bushmaster lower. Looks good! and no play.

I've got a BCM upper with an Armalite barrel, Bushmaster BCG, YHM barrel nut (and rail), all on an Anvil Arms lower. Quite the mix and match, but it functions just fine.

I have 2 BCM middys, one on a BCM lower and one on a LMT lower. Both are less glossy than the upper.
The LMT has a little bit of play and the BCM has almost none. I can post pics if you'd like.

ETA: the LMT lower middy has a CMT MPd BCG and the BCM lower middy has a Larue BCG

Ah yes, I was looking at a Bushmaster lower as well, my main thing is the fit, I want no play, thats the most important, looks are second for me.

Yeah, pics if you dont mind. Specifically of the LMT lower config.

I have that exact pair. Fit is perfect, no slop, yet easy to remove the upper when needed. The the spikes finish is a bit more blue, while the BCM's is more black. You'd really have to be scrutinizing it to notice the difference though. It won't even show up in pictures.

I'm running a Daniel Defense bolt group. Don't have many rounds through it, but so far no problems.

Spikes lower, BCM middy uppper.  Fit is good.  Tight but not too tight of rmy liking.  The color match is about 93.63489% in my opinion.  BCM's upper is al ittle bit darker than Spikes' lower.

I had my BCM middy on an LMT lower until I got a BCM lower.  There is a little bit of wiggle with both.  Keep in mind that I use the fit between a LaRue upper and and a LaRue lower as a benchmark.

BCM middy on DPMS lower,  enough of a wiggle that I considered accuwedge. BCM upper closer to black, DPMS lighter, closer to gray.

I have two EA lowers and one fits great, no wiggle, the other one is a  little bit loose...I have different lowers and when building a new rifle I move them around to get the best fit. I dont care much about color matching but the EA lower matches great too...

My resembles this.  There is movement as well.  Not a ton, but it is audible.  I think an accuwedge will eliminate the movement.
