Hopefully I will purchase a BCM 16in mid length soon. And I was wondering what's the pros and cons of the bfh barrel compared to the standard one? Any differences in weight ? etc.

No difference in weight as long as they are the same profile. The CHF might be more accurate & it will last longer. Not much else is noteworthy in comparison. Flip a coin.
