| I just bought a bushmaster AR15M4 but size group shot shoot i expect at 400 yrds? I'm a pretty good shooter, I just dont know much about the AR and was wandering whats groups i could get with the 14.5" barrel |

The farthest I have shot any of my AR's is 300 yards, Never shot for group at that distance. Using my handloads and with scope cranked up all the way (14x), I can mow down pop cans and orange clay targets with boring regularity. The rifle is a CMMG 20" govt profile upper/Stag lower. I have a 100 yard target from the same gun that I can cover the group with a dime. Pics available upon request. My slickside carbine (16" barrel) will get the same targets at 200yds fairly regularly, once I get the range dialed in. Practice often and you might get out that far too. The gun is certainly capable. The rest is up to you. Every time I shoot my AR's I am amazed at what they can do. ZM |
