Bushnell Trophy red dot. Paid $85 for it used, they run about $150 new. Only issue I had was that it was too big to me to use my BUIS.

Primary Arms M4 multi reticle on PA high cant. mount. Cost was about $110 new for optic and mount. I just got it in today and replaced the bushnell with it. Shot 200 rounds with it and I love it. I'll be adding a 3x magnifier as soon as I have some extra cash.

I just Picked up the Sightmark Fixed 6x42" Triply Duty Scope, and I am impressed.

I'll give another mini review and take some pictures through the scope in an edit later.

I picked it up for $120 shipped fomr sightmarkonline.com. I was a little iffy at first but I needed a scope foy my LT-104-VFZ test so i got it anyway.

I must say its the  BRIGHTEST budget scope I have every looked through, the only things I dont like is the MIl-DOT area on the reticle is very small, and there is no parralax turrent, just a small adjustment at the eyepiece.

The reticle is also very thin and sharp, even when its illuminated.  I'm still not sure if the 6x is good enough for shoting small groups at 100 yards, but we will see.

* Laseraim Illusion red dot
* LaRue Tactical Comp M2 RAS II Mount QD LT-152
* Tactical Solutions LT 22 upper

this optic is over 25 years old, and it's still running on its first battery!
(the optic has been hibernating for 15 years atop a SP-1)
(eta) can't find the Laseraim optics anymore, but I believe that it is now the Ultradot 30mm

* CenterPoint 4-16x40mm Scope
* LaRue Tactical Picatinny Riser QD LT-101
* Leupold 1" rings

got this scope from recommendations from the "Rimfire" gang, and as they stated,
this is an excellent optic for 64 buck-a-roos from Wally*world.
two thumbs up!

For my AAR report.

Alright this scope is worth every penny, Honestly the image quality is of something I would expect to pay $250+ for. As you can see in the pictures below it was very poor conditions, it was pouring nonstop and the scope, me, and the rifle were dripping wet the entire time. It was relatively "dark" and yet the scope made the target look like it was sunny out, as the scope was still rediculously bright. I didnt geta shot through the scope as I didnt want to get the camera wet.

If anyone wants a fixed scope this is worth the $120 shipped i paid at sightmarkonline.com. I was also testing out the new LaRue VFZ mounts.

Reticule- I love it as the lines are thinner then any scope i have ever seen.

Now I realize this is only a 3 shot group but I consider this very good, because I am used to shooting 100 yards with my 18" rifle with 10-12x scope, this is only 6x.

Definetly waterproof:

The PA M3 clone held up fine too

Burris Timberline 2-7x26mm Ballistic Plex reticle.

I had a Millet DMS-1 and was a bit disappointed with the compromise.  I decided that this would be a good intermediate range optic and that if a CQB range sighting device was desired, I'd just use the irons.

The thought of something better down the road has crossed my mind...such as the IOR 1.5-8x26mm or Leupold MK4 1.5-5x20mm MR/T.  The reticle on the Burris actually ends up working pretty well for carry handle use (high height over the bore and all that).  Going to one of the tailored 62gr reticles would mean going flat top else the hold-over lines would be about useless.  Still, the Leupy doesn't have enough magnification for my tastes and if the IOR is a first focal plane (as most are) the reticles become nearly useless at lower magnifications, and a bit too thick at the higher end.

As it is this is was a great buy for $175, has very good glass for the price, looks fairly tacticool with the flip-up caps, and is compact enough to not look totally shitty on a carry handle.  The rings used are B-Square Sport Utility low which were all of about $12. A CAA 3/4" cheek piece makes for a good cheek weld.

I have one of these. I haven't used it yet because the rifle it is going on isn't finished yet. Having said that, just looking through it I am impressed with the clarity and brightness. Got it from The Sportsman's Guide for $197.97 with buyers club discount. Regular price is $219.97.

Lurking forever, my very first post.

I've been trying to decide on a low to medium power inexpensive scope for a while. Something in the 100 - 200 price range. I found this new Redfield Revolution2-7x33($130) about a month ago and ended up buying it yesterday. Redfield was picked up by Luepold & Stevens not too long ago. And now Luepold is making these Revolution scopes under the Redfield name. This is a nice looking scope. Finger adjustable turrets, smooth but firm power adjustment, and a lockable reticle focus. I mounted it up in a Burris AR - PEPR 2 inch offset mount. The AccuRange reticle incorporates a plex type cross-hair with a circle center and BDC at 200,300,400,500yds in .223 / 5.56. The glass looks really good... nice and clear edge to edge, life time warranty and made in America !!!

Here are a few pics

4x power

7x power

Picked up this Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 shotgun scope at Cabelas for $94 (reg price $140). The mount is a Burris AR-PEPR. It was between this or the Redfield 2-7x32 but the Nikon had much more positive click adjustments and seemed to be a hair better on the quality of the picture.

This has been a great scope for the money - a Bushnell Banner 6-18x50. I have 3 of them on my varmint rifles and have used them to dispatch lots of prairie dogs. Only issue is that it is a large scope and requires high rings..

This is how it looked on my flat-top AR before I replaced it and moved it to the one above.
Although it sort of appears to touch the handguard, it does not.

oh, and yet another Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40... Also a fine scope for the money.
