Assume all questions apply to a flat top set up.
1.Is the elevation of all make and model, from the top of the rail to the center of the circle on the rear site to the top of the front site the same? 2.Where is the best location to place the sites? All the way to the back and all the way to the front of the rail? 3.Do all buis require you to zero them at the |

1. they will be pretty close, but the front sight is adjustable, to alleviate any differences.
2. At the rear, due to it being a peep sight, you want it as close to your eye as possible, making it easier to ignore the peep and focus on your front sight 3. Yes, you will adjust the elevation with your front sight, and make any windage adjustments on the rear, pretty much set and forget as long as you don't remove the rear sight |

I think you would want the front and rear sight as far away from each other as possible. Makes for better accuracy I believe. So usually the front sight is as far forward as the rail allows. |
