| Hope this isn't too dumb a question but are all AR-15 BUIS (e.g. - Troy, M.I., A.R.M.S., etc.) all the same height when flipped up. I'm asking because I'm wondering if changing the BUIS will give a different "co-witness" when looking through an Aimpoint (or other RDS) - i.e. - higher or lower. I know that the scope mount can be changed to adjust the co-witness but can just changing to a different BUIS accomplish the same thing? Thanks for any guidance you guys can give me here. |

Yes, most/all should should be the standard height. (Except you want to make sure you don't order an HK style iron sight which would require both front and rear to be the HK style. But again, the other 99% should be interchangeable.)
Where you would have the lower 1/3 sight picture or co-witness differences would have to do with the optic mount itself. |
