I have pieced together
Colt M4 Upper
Colt LWT 1/9 16" barrel (for a 6320)
"F" Marked FSH
Mepro Tritium Front sight
YHM Riser
Eotech 512
M4 handguards

The question. I want a BUIS, but I want my front sight to be flush or near the FSB floor.

I have seen images of front sights screwed down below normal or screwed up with threads exposed. Looks odd.

Do I need a particular BUIS or is this a non issue and just go with my choice?

I want it too look right.

thanks in advance

Having an F marked FSB is the best bet for keeping it below the ears.  After that, there's not much you can do about it unless you want to file/mill the bottom of the rear sight so it sits lower on the rail.

Tolerances will give you +/- a few thousandths, but all the sights are going to be approximately the same spec.
