My build is slowly coming to the end. I am currently looking to buy a set of back up iron sights. Before you say Magpul, let me say, they won’t work. I have JP Enterprises railed gas block that is not the same plane as the receiver. Therefore, I need to find a matching set of sites that the front site mounts to the glass block. So far my search has come up with the following:

Yankee Hill Machine: YHM-9584 Front Site paired up with a YHM-9680 Rear Sight - $191

Midwest Industires:  MCTAR-FFG Front Sight paired with a MCTAR-SPLP - $175

Midwest Industires:  MI-LFFG Front Sight paired with a MCTAR-SPLP - $210
(This one is low profile and may be nice for when I add optics)

Troy Industries: SSIG-GBF-0MBT-00 Front M4 Sight paired with a SSIG-DOA-RFBT-00 Di-Optic Aperture Rear Sight - $248

Samson Industries: QF-FFS-EXT Front Sight paired with a QF-FRS Rear Sight - $195

So far I am leaning toward the Midwest Industries as I can get them in OD green to match my Magpul furniture.

I know I am opening a can of worms here, but I would like to know if anyone has used these site systems and what the pros/cons are for them? Also, would anyone not recommend getting any of these sights?

Pick any front sight you like.

A few companies, like YHM, make a gas block riser, allowing "quad rail height" sights to be used on gas blocks.
