Putting the finishing touches on a Bison Armory/Stag 6.8 SPCII  - have it scoped with a NIkon P223 3-9x40 Mate BDC 600 on a burris AR-PEPR Scope mount which may or may not end up with a reflex sight on top.
So that just leaves back up sights, which honestly seem superfluous, since it is highly unlucky that anyone will be shooting back at me at the range.
BUT I would not be a responsible AR-owner if I did not fill up every notch on that Troy Bravo rail.
$$s are running low so whats the right answer?  Magpul?  seem like an airsoft toy> Troy Micro battle sight = $225+
Anyone have a strong opinion one way or another?
cheers

I use Midwest Industries low profile front and rear. Nice and compact ,built well.

Well, if you're not going to use them very often (if at all), magpuls are hella-durable, cheap, lightwieght and perfectly fine.  Plastic yes, but duty quality and not "airsoft".  (Well technically Magpul does make airsoft version cheaper sights too, IIRC)

If you're going to use your backups often, I like Troys, and KAC gets a lot of love here too.

Got the Troy HK-style battle sights, because I prefer the sight picture - circle in a circle.  The Magpul design just does not work for me.  Look through your different options before buying.

I use a Matech BUIS, since my upper still has the F type front sight.

The obvious solution is the KAC 45 degree offset micros but most can't stomach the $315 price tag.

Of course you could get a KAC micro set.  The micro rear should fit under your scope without issue.

The Gen2 MBUS sights will work fine for your application.

Could also wait for the metal MBUS Pro sights that will be coming out.
