| I have a issued Colt M4 that came with a carry handle. I took the carry handle off and I mounted an Aimpoint M3 on it. My question is would I be better off getting the Troy Industries rear sight that claims to be the same height as the carry handle or the ARMS 40L-P rear sight which I am not sure if the height is the same as the carry handle. Does anyone know if I get the ARMS BUIS will I have to adjust the front sight more so than I would if I got the Troy BUIS. Thanks |
![]() I went with Troy on my Colt 6721 M4 type upper +1 Most rear BUIS are the same height as the detachable carry handle sight. I went with Troy because I don't prefer spring loaded designs, I wanted a folding BUIS that the first aperture when flipped up is the large one and it won't accidentally fold down, to fold the Troy a release button have to be pushed. Those are just my own personal preference but all the major BUIS makers are pretty good. The improved Troy BUIS now have an additional coin slot adjustment on the windage knob for easier adjustment. I got mine from Denny of Global Tactical. www.global-tactical.com |

The TROY and the ARMS are very good BUIS. Another one I really like is the New GG&G A2 Spring Actuated BUIS.
