Hey guys I wanted to try out the Troy dioptic aperture so I bought one for my latest build. To start out I have an astigmatism and my eyes suck. I wear and shoot with prescription glasses. So last weekend I tried it at the range and I could not adjust to it whatsoever. Both of the apertures on the sight are far too large for me to have any kind of precision with my shots. My buddy also shot it (also not the best eyesight, but better than mine) and he hated the aperture as well. So I sold that sight. I am now looking at getting another BUIS. The thing that worries me is even on the normal Troy battlesight the closer range aperture is pretty large. I think I may end up having to use the long range aperture all the time, unless I was doing real short range work. I have never had any issues with a regular A2 sight. Any suggestions? Thanks.
