| I need front (gas block) and rear flip backup sights for a new Stag 3 upper. Just wondering if mixing brands will cause issues with sighting in? I'm looking at getting Midwest Industries front with either Magpul or Yankee Hill rear. Anything else I need to be aware of when mixing sights? |

As long as whichever brand of front sight you buy is made for the gas block height you should be GTG.
I know of two guys that bought same plane sights and mounted them on the gas block instead of the rail and wondered why they ran out of adjustment and couldn't get the sight in their rifles.

| I have also found that sometimes when mixing brands, your adjustments may be a little more extreme then using like sights. For example I had a YHM rear flip and a HK frot flip that when zeroed had the front sight adjusted really high. However it was not to the point of failure. Just kind looks odd to me. |
