Buyer beware. I bought a 20 rd AR-15 mag from Cheaper Than Dirt. Itm #MAG-062. "Supplied by various manufacturers". The last round just wouldn't fit. Had to jam it in. Wouldn't feed with any more than 18 rounds in it. They sent me a replacement and it was exactly the same except this one won't even fit all the way up in the mag well without smacking it hard with the palm of my hand. Seems like there's something seriously wrong with these mags. Just a word to the wise.

Yep, there are just some things you DON'T buy from CTD and something as important as a magazine is one of them.

Got some pictures of this mag. Any mfr name on the floor plate?

Take a look at these to use instead...www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=24&t=429460

Yes, this information would be helpful.

Pics attached. No writing on the mags anywhere. Typical green followers. To be fair, CTD was quick to respond to my emails, ship a replacement, and offer a refund. Prepaid FedEx call tag was enclosed.

One of those "USA" mags maybe?

I got one of those during the ban with my first AR with black follower.  I wouldnt even know if it works because I use it to hold my bedroom door open.  I doubt its much good for anything else.

Couldn't the poster, being in a ban state, "repair" the magazine with current USGI mag parts?

Not sure what's meant by that. How are "ban" internals different other than a spacer of some kind to restrict them to 10 rds? CT has no hi-cap magazine restriction as part of it's 'ban' by the way. The sky's the limit.
