Barreled and head spaced an upper today and tried it out. Started out with extraction problems. Checked the cases and they are bulged pretty good near the bottom but only about a 1/3 the way around. Makes it look like the last 1/4 of the case is bent to one side. I guess the chamber is out of round or something weird. Maybe short in the neck area too. I would say who made it but I don't want to be accused of "Brand bashing". My lucks been bad on parts lately. Rough carrier, tele-stock tubes with groves cut in the inside of the tubes, and now a bad barrel.

I've seen that before.  What it turned out to be was:  The barrels were short chambered automatic lathe.  The barrel extensions were installed and then the chamers were finnished by hand.  The "new guy" that was using the reamer on a "T" handle was pulling on just one handle of the "T" cutting the chamber into an egg.  The company ended up making 16" barrels out of 20" ones and scrapping the 16".  What a drag!
